God’s Unfailing Love
Jesus Loves You
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 NIV
“Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them.” Hebrews 7:25 NIV
“For it is by Grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” Ephesians 2:8
We are all born into a life of sin. The wages of sin is death and eternal separation from God. The good news is God sent His one and only son, Jesus, to die for our sins and eternally bridge the gap that we fall short of every day. Jesus was sent to the earth to live a sin-free life, He died and rose again on the third day to give us the opportunity to have a forever relationship with our Creator. We have to choose Jesus and receive our free gift of Salvation.
How Can I Be Saved?
“Jesus answered, “I am the way, the truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6 NIV
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:13 NIV
“Surely God is my salvation. I will trust and not be afraid.
The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense, he has become my salvation.” Isaiah 12:2
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
If you admit you are a sinner and doing good deeds is not enough for you, then at this moment you should call on the name of the Lord, which is King Jesus. If we believe with all our hearts that Jesus came to this earth, died on the cross, and was raised from the dead, confess with our mouths that Jesus is our savior then we shall be saved. We receive our abundant gift of salvation and can enter into a personal relationship with God. This is the best decision you can make in your life!
What’s Next?
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” Ephesians 6:10-17
“And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.” Hebrews 10:25
“As Iron sharpens Iron, so one person sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17
So, what do you do now that you have asked Jesus to take over? These next steps are some of the most important steps you can take. Who and what you surround yourself with is critical to your relationship with the Lord. We must get plugged into a local church. Attending church regularly helps you grow your relationship with God and will help renew your mind daily. Ask a leader about water baptism, as this is the next step of obedience in your great adventure with the Lord. Start reading The Word daily, and equipping the Holy Spirit that now lives in you to guide you through your day in the world. God knows the plans He has for you, they are to prosper you and to build you up, not tear you down. We love that He is speaking to you, and we just know that the BEST IS YET TO COME!
